Story chair, upcycled Victorian wood door, hand made, original sign writing

Perfect for a kitchen, for visitors to sit with tea and tell their stories. Or a nursery, where a storyteller can enjoy the company of twenty-eight bears (and a wolf called George). A hallway would suit, for the household to come and go, dropping books, bags, the stuff we love, because all these quiet objects tell their stories too.

Suited for any place in your house, quiet or noisy, this welcoming, warm chair is made from a Victorian door with additional panels, reclaimed pine, paint and love.

Hand made and hand painted by a professional sign writer, we'd love to say this piece came from our own upcycling studio. In fact, this chair is one of those quirky, one-off, away-with-the-fairies items we couldn't possibly pass by. It suits someone's utterly unique home; a place where stories matter.

We'd love to bring it to its new location, so we offer free delivery to 100 miles from Milton Keynes, and a modest delivery charge thereafter.

The chair is in good order; sound and stable, solid and dependable. Handles are attached for ease of lift.

Scratches, scuffs and minor marks result from warriors battling with ogres; maidens rescuing trapped princes from towers, and the galloping of a horse over the fields, when the moon is full.
