Quirky Overnight Stay? Welcome to The Workshop
Developmental Testers Needed!
Visitors invited to stay in an Original Vehicle Workshop, built by LNWR in 1910.
This private workshop, built alongside a Victorian house, is now a tiny house created for visitors to stay overnight.
Superbly compact design combines Kitchen and Cooking space, Shower area in the original sunken inspection pit, Private toilet, Sitting room with DVD and HDMI screen, Dining area, Bedroom with bed hung on salvaged chain, Workspace, Reading room and Games room (yes, that’s the shelving under the stairs).
Steampunk in style, the private Workshop offers original Victorian and Edwardian features, including railway light, vehicle inspection pit, and handmade furniture. Fittings and furnishings are materials salvaged, saved, scrounged and stolen (allegedly).
Suits singles and couples, your stay is self-contained, can include light supper and breakfast, and - for a limited trial period in 2023 - is by donation.
Available by application only!
