French Antique Cafe Table, Square, Sealed Metal

 

Delivery options available on this antique patinated cafe table, acquired from Mirepoix France, showing cleaned and sealed metal, waxed to a finish.

While difficult to date - this tri-legged, club-foot style is a classic composition from the 1800s onwards - this beautiful table bears all the hallmarks of an antique metal-made piece.

Three legs, braced together with a circular strap, remain stable. The top shows age, remaining firm with a beautiful lustrous finish. Metal is cleaned and polished to ensure further use.

Please see photographs - this is a uniquely characterful piece and we have maintained all features to show its long age. Wear into metal is expression of history; one corner shows historic marking; one side gently undulates with the top remaining sturdy.
